This genuine original adidas Liverpool shirt from the 2008-10 period was personally hand-signed by Steven Gerrard in Formby on 13 July 2026. Original examples from this era are becoming increasingly rare and difficult to source, particularly in good condition.
The shirt was worn during the memorable 2008-09 campaign, one of Gerrard’s finest individual seasons for Liverpool. He scored a career-best 24 goals across all competitions, including 16 in the Premier League, as Liverpool accumulated 86 points and finished second in a closely contested title race. His performances earned him the 2009 Football Writers’ Association Footballer of the Year award.
Gerrard made 710 appearances and scored 186 goals during his Liverpool career, captaining the club for more than a decade. Combining an important period in his career with a rare genuine adidas shirt, this personally signed item is a particularly desirable piece of Liverpool memorabilia.
