Why These Autographs Stand Out

Autographs are more than just scribbled names - they're tangible links to history, moments, and meaning. A Muhammad Ali glove, a signed Beatles album, or a handwritten letter from Einstein - each tells a story and carries the unique aura of the person behind it. In a world of mass production, signed items remain rare, emotional, and deeply personal.

With dwindling availability and skyrocketing demand, these pieces are at the heart of a thriving collector’s market. In 2026, autographs aren’t just keepsakes - they’re legacy items.

A standard Bill Clinton signed photo usually sells for around £120 to £180 on eBay and specialist sites. Signed copies of his books often land in the same sort of range. When you get into rarer material, like a signed letter on presidential stationery or something personally written, prices jump much higher. It’s not unusual for a genuine Clinton handwritten letter to reach over £1,000, sometimes several thousand if the content is important.

For Jimmy Carter, most signed books and photos tend to fall in the £50 to £120 area. A simple signed 3x5 card or index card is normally closer to £40 to £60. Again, signed letters or anything more personal can go higher, often a few hundred pounds depending on content, date and condition.

Rosalynn Carter autographs are a little less common than Jimmy’s, so the pricing is slightly firmer. A signed note or card from her typically sits around £60 to £100. A more interesting format, like a signed cheque or a signed letter, can run into a few hundred pounds, especially now following her passing.
